A Leotard - - not just for your average ballerina

I just recently started getting into wearing leotards (or otherwise known as bodysuits). The last time I owned one was probably 3 years ago for a college ballet class I took, however since then I have now purchased them for fashion. Upside:: They are a great item to have especially if you are looking for that sleek tucked in look with a high waist skirt or pair of jeans. Any body type works well with them, you don’t have to look like a ballerina to wear them. I’m curvy and they not only suck me in but also show off my curves in a great way. Downside:: The only downside that so far I’ve found when I wear them is the bathroom situation. Most of them are one-piece aka when you are out and go to the bathroom you have to pull the whole outfit almost completely off which can become a bit of a pain especially if you’re drinking and are on the every 10min run, however, you can find some leotards that do have snaps down there which is always more helpful. I recently purchased a few leotards from American Apparel; they have a great variety and really fit well. They are on more of the expensive side averaging around $40 for one so try and stick with pieces that you will find getting more than one use out of. Stay Fearless! xx

Manly Monday!

The Flannel.
I secretly love the flannel on a guy but shhh don't tell my guy because the flannel has been on debate between us lol. Anyway, the one great thing about a guy wearing a flannel is they can wear it  dress down with athletic sweatpants to bum around in or half tucked in with a cute v-neck tee and a pair of jeans to wear out to dinner. They come in so many various colors (however, i do suggest you stay away from the typical red & black checkered flannel that screams "I am a man, come boy, lets go jack some lumber"ha ha) but also girls, they are so soft and comfy they're are perfect for you to steal from your man or cuddle up next too ;) So if your a girl looking for something to buy for your guy or a guy looking for a new outfit go for the flannel. Quick suggest: American Eagle has a wide selections on colors, they wash well, and really fit the guy  +plus all the flannels right now are on sale for $24.50. You can't beat it! So stay fearless and go get yourself a flannel! xx

Think PiNk!

Don't go packing up your pink clothes just yet ... its the color of the year for 2011! 2010 brought us lovely shades of turquoise but now we'll be seeing shades of pink throughout the runways and upcoming red carpets. It's a great color on any skin tones and personally one of my fave colors to wear. For those of you who can't seem to find anything pink in your closet I found a great banded party dress at Express. Not only will it look great and show off those sexy curves but its also currently on sale for $35, super cheap right?! So just remember throwing in pops of the color of pink to any outfit this year will be sure to make a statement and don't forget to accessorize! :) Stay fearless, xx.
